When I tried to download the update by clicking on the following link for Elitebook Folio 9470M (Win 10 64 bit):
An error message popped up that the page cannot be reached...
I had this notebook pc on and sitting idle for a half hour or so and suddenly an HP dialog box opened (nothing I generated or made happen, it just opened), with the following:
"HP Support Assistant
A tune-up may take serveral hours to complete. Please close all applications."
Then a spinning icon appeared and is spinning around and says: "Loading..."
There is also a "Cancel" button
I thought is was strange that a tune-up would/could take several hours but I am retired and have other computers to use so I have just let it run. It has now been 15 hours and still just says "Loading" and the spinning icon indicates it's still working I guess.

My computer is 15-af110nt. I really wonder that Are drivers at the hp site upgraded?
I mean my graphic card is readeon r5 m330.at the site of amd there is a lot of upgrades for it crimson,,adrenaline etc.
But at he site of hp when I write my pc model it shows me a driver that realised 2016 jan.Even it is not crimson relive it is catalyst.
Do I need to use the driver from HP site.?
Hello. I bought the HP envy x360 aq273cl from Costco a few weeks ago.
I also bought a pen to use at tablet mode.
But somehow the pen didn't work. I returned it, bought it again, but it still didn't work.
I checked on the connections with the PC, and went through all of the applications and software on my PC.
But the pen still didn't work. It was not a battery problem, or a problem of connection.
However, The PC is brand new and there were barely any solutions I could find on Google.
What is wrong with it? And also, how do you check if the HP Pen Control Software is installed or not?
Is there any other solutions to fix this problem?
I bought a HP laptop last week and the tablet pen I bought doesn't work.
It is not a battery problem, or connection, or a software problem.
The laptop works fine if I touch the screen with my fingers on tablet mode.
But somehow, the pen doesn't work.
Is this only my problem? And is there any other ways to solve thisz problem?

Not all touchscreens have the builtin digitizer to work with an active stylus.

I have problem with install HP 3D DriveGuard on EliteBook 8570p with last 1709 Windows 10 64bit. Installation complete, but in task manager is still error with accelerometer. I try install driver for Win10, Win8.1, Win8, Win7. Still the same. Any ideas?

Hello, when i run Adobe premiere pro cc 2017 with the nvidia graphics(GeForce 940MX), there is no video playback on the timeline. However, with Intel on board graphics it runs fine. So, the issue must be with the nvidia graphics. I tried reinstalling the driver and watched few youtube videos but to no avail. I specially bought this laptop to edit videos with the dedicated nvidia graphics. Please help me sort out the problem.

Thanks sandytechy. I had already used Troubleshoot. It found a fix for 3 problems, one of which was "display does not dim, which I applied. It did not solve the problem
Finally, to fix this and other problems that emerged, I reinstalled via HP rather than downloading an ISO file. then created a bootable USB image It worked well.

The product specs page for your notebook indicates that it originally came with W8.
Starting with all PC's that come from a PC manufacturer with W8, the product keys are all in the BIOS

Thank you for the advises and the info. I have actually applied all steps and the problems mentioned before are solved at least for now.
There is another issue: every time I wake up my laptop it takes it a few minutes to activate the Wifi. It feels like it is in a flight mode (I check, it isn't) and takes about 3-5 min to activate the Wifi and start recognising available networks. Is this normal?

There are no specs on that model I could find.
What processor and chipset does it have? AMD or Intel.
Let me know the full processor description, such as Intel i3-6300, or AMD A10 with Radeon R? graphics.
