Recovery Manager install file
Hello.
For some reasons I have to reinstall Windows. Then i started to download and install HP software from HP Support page for my laptop. And i've noticed that there isn't HP Recovery Manager install file.
There is only HP Recovery Manager Update (sp81254.exe)
How could i get the full program to install on my laptop?

Re: Recovery Manager install file
Hi:
The full recovery manager software is not available for download for your model.
You can always clean install W10 for free at any time by using the Media Creation tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
The tool will give you the option of making a W10 installation flash drive, or you can save an ISO file which you can later burn to a DVD using your DVD burning software's burn ISO file option.
The software will work with the W10 product key in your notebook's BIOS.
After W10 is installed, you can go to your notebook's support page to install the drivers and available software you need.
Face Recognition not Working
Just puchased Envy and it set up the facial recognition when I first turned it on. After updating the Windows OS and transferring files from my old HP Pavilion, the Facial recognition is no longer an option in settings... already have deleted and replaced all of the associated drivers which included the camera drivers but I couldn't find any 'Hello' specific drivers...

No sound from speakers work on new HP model 15-cci52od laptop
We just bought a HP laptop. We can get the speakers to produce sound even though Setting and Task Bar shows they are working. I put in a music CD and Windows Media Player start and showed it was indeed play. But no sound.
Any help would be appreciated

Re: McAffee
It may still running and one day it may ask you to pay it otherwise you can't update to new virus files. If you wish you can remove it and Windows will turn Windows defenders on.

Re: my hp notebook doesn't turn on and blinkink capslock
Hi,
Please try a hard reset and see if it works.
1. Power off your laptop
2. Remove the a/c adapter, battery and everything that is attached to your laptop.
3. Hold the 'POWER 'button down on your laptop for about 10 seconds.
4. Plug in the a/c power supply (without battery) and power on.
Regards.
Re: HP accelerometer error after windows 10 update
I have looked on my computer and I CANNOT even find a file named HP 3D DriveGuard. I downloaded the link provided in this thread and restarted my computer but guess what. It's back!!!
Someone please help me.
Re: HP Accelerometer is not supported in newer version of Windows 10
I have updated accelerometer several times but every time windows 10 updates itself I receive error messages suggesting the notebook is not working properly and a driver is missing. Last time I get a message on installing your suggested driver that I have a newer version already installed (that is not working) Can you please tell me the latest version and send out drivers as needed to your customers when windows messes up our lives. Thank you - I have no idea at all what to do next of if my laptop is in danger
Go in stand-by after 1 minute
When I leave the NB idle for about 1 minute, it goes into standby.
I always use it connected to the power (no battery).
My settings is (see also attached image):
Disable SCREEN:
--- battery: 5 minutes
--- power: 10 minutes
STAND BY:
--- battery: 10 minutes
--- power: never
I tried to change this settings in various mode, but without success. Go always in stand-by.
I noticed that only if I run a video (using VLC) then the NB stays awake
I do not know what to try anymore! Help me.

Intel Management Engine- Vulnerability after Update?
Hello,
after reading of said problem, I downloaded the detection tool and it said my system was vulnerable. I tried sp82469 as this should be the fix for my notebook. However, the detection tool still says my system is vulnerable. Any ideas what I can do now?

NO!!! Do not uninstall Win1709, as this (uninstalling) is much worse than the error message forced by not correctly working HP 3D Driveguard installments. If you have the HP 3D Driveguard in your apps listed it will most propably work OK. At starting you will only get the annoying message. You can either ignore it (close the message) if it poersist after you have taken all the steps described in earlier posts, or uninstall the 3D Driveguard app completely. Don't forget however that it may protect your HDD whenever you drop your laptop (by accident of course).
