TrueSuiteService causing issues
After updating my laptop to Windows 10, an icon keeps showing up in the taskbar and then immediately disappearing.
So, I performed a clean boot and discovered that TrueSuiteService by HP has been causing the problem.
How can I solve this?

Looked @ your link for Win 8-1. Don't think I have 8-1 as I don't see anything re "charms". However, I was able to get to the place where I could disable the "swipe" and clicked "off" and it, so far, works.
I appreciate your help in this.

I find that two versions of HP 3D DriveGuard have been installed.
The first version is in Control Panel->Programs-> uninstall a program-> HP 3D DriveGuard (6.0.10.1)
The second version is in Device manager-> system devices-> HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor (6.0.5.1)
I had tried uninstalling the 3D driveGuard completely, but it failed.
The step i had taken:
After i uninstalled the HP 3D DriveGuard (6.0.10.1) in control Panel and restarted the computer,
I would find that HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor (6.0.5.1) in device manager is still here and does not change to unknown device.
Therefore, I unistall HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor (6.0.5.1) like http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Operating-System-and-Recovery/HP-3D-DriveGuard-not-working-after-reformat/td-p/300570 but it showed blue screen error: inaccessible boot device after restarting .
So i cant uninstall the 3D driveguard completely.
After you install 7-zip, right click on the unknown 3D driveguard device needing the driver.
Select 7-zip from the menu. Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the file into its driver folder (sp71839).

W10 keeps crashing my 17-F050ND
Hi all,
I have a HP pavilion 17-F050ND laptop for 2 year now.
I received the laptop whit W8.1 on it. I upgrade it to W10
After the universal update of W10 the laptop keeps crashing after a whil.
I know when that happens, I can see my wifi sign changing to a highlite after it crashed it's indicated with a cross.
After a hard reset (pressing the power button) it works fine for a while.
Are there more people having this problem?
And do you have a solution? please inform?

If you can't uninstall the program via "Add / Remove Programs", then I personally would suggest you use a 3rd party software uninstaller such as "Microsoft Fix it", "CCleaner" or "Revo uninstaller".

I found a HP uninstalling programs doc online, uninstalling program in the registry. I went into the registry and deleted the Omnipass keys. There were no other omnipass files anywhere else. I went to install simplepass, but it took 4 tries to get it working, missing dll's, string wouldn''t start. I had to go back in my downloads and get an old copy, then update to a newer version. Finally it's installed and working. Thanks for your thoughts.

We have purched in Malta an HP Colour Laserjet PRO M177fw Printer on 15th July 2015.
Supplier if refusing to service free the printer with excuse that you offer only 1 year garanty on your products.
In your replay on 30/09/15 regarding warranty by HP, you mentioned that warranty for EU members has been extended to 2 years with effect since 1st Jan 2002.
Since Malta is an Eu member, can you please confirm for me that purched product is under the 2 year garanty?

on auction from my company and works perfectly, the only thing is they uninstalled all the drivers and now need to install it all again.

What about Windows 7? Way superior to Vista. Your video chip, Radeon HD3450 is on the list of chips expressly not supported by Windows 10. Windows 8 would likely work OK but you would be better off with 7 instead of 8. I know for sure 7 will work fine as I have had Windows 7 running on essentially the same model with no issues.

One fairly easy way to get started is to install the HP Support Assistant.
It will go through and check the hardware that is in it and provide drivers as an Update. It may miss a couple and in that case we can help you locate the drivers by using the hardware ID of the specific device. There are quite a few options on that model series and unless you have the original shipping receipt that shows what is in it, one would have to go into the device manager and get the hardware ID for each device needing a driver and match it up to one of the options on the HP download page.
For example there are 14 network drivers under Windows 7 and you do not need all of them but we do not know if you have a Mobile broadband card or what kind of wireless you have unless you look at each individual item in the device manager.
