This is more likely an Office software issue as opposed to having to do with the brand of notebook or even the HP drivers on that computer.
Assuming, for the moment,
Your Windows Updates are current
HP Drivers are current and installed,
that the version of Office Software you are running is fully compatible and supported with your Operating System version,
and that the computer is responding as expected in other areas ,
Consider one or more of the following:
