You will be able to use that same adapter in the UK.

 

The only thing you will need is the cord that plugs into the wall.

Pavilion DV4-1435DX BIOS Update Error "There isn't any ROM File"

Current BIOS is F.12, Downloaded 3 BIOS (F55, F61, F66) from HP Support, couldn't install any of them. Each time error message appears "There isn't any ROM File" after pressing Start button while in INSYDEFLASH utility. Tried disabling Wi-Fi and Antivirus.

 

Some people fixed it by updating to closest next version up till the latest one but after pressing "Previous Versions" button on HP Support I get 3 (F55, F61, F66) which aren't working. Probably there are others but I couldn't find those on the web.

Kindly give me link for all versions, or tell me any other method to solve it. Thanks.

yeah, i updated the drivers,
lemme clarify on the subject, a while ago i realized that my 2 usb 3.0 ports are not working and even no power(whenever i plug my external hard drive or a flash drive, no light at all)
and they doesnt even boot and u cant start installing windows using them !
i checked variety of possibilities like drivers but they didnt work,
i even downgraded the laptop to windows 7 (64 bit) and still didnt work, (along with some other problems i encountered in win 7)
So, i installed windows 10 again and then i downloaded all the HP drviers from HP site, i even check out HP support assistant for updates, i updated the bios to the latest version on the HP site,
but the probelm still there and my usb 3.0 ports are not working,

 

please help me ... i am so desperate !!!!!

 



ps: when i bought the laptop i replace the hard drive with a SSD Storage.

Are you able to go online with your computer on the wireless network?

Are you able to connect to the home network?

Do you get any error messages?

What are you referring to when you say " wifi connection that is : 001, 002, 003."

HP updates for HP laptop running Windows 7

We have an HP Probook 4540s running Windows 7  AND an HP250 running Windows 10.   We keep both up-to-date with WINDOWS updates from Microsoft. 

 

The W10 PC came with HP Support Assistant installed and we regularly get HP UPDATES via this program. 

 

The W7 PC did NOT come with HP Support Assistant.  We did sign up to receive "Driver and Support eAlerts", and periodically (but not very often) get emails from HP with alert and update information. 

 

With the volume of HP updates we get for the W10 pc, we are now questioning updates for the W7 pc. 

 

 - Are the differences in HP update volumes just due to operating system differences? 

 

 - Are we getting any automatic HP updates for the W7 pc that we are not aware of? 

 

 - If we are indeed not getting HP updates for the W7 pc could we potentially have security issues? 

 

 - Having checked the HP website, we now realize that there is an HP Support assistant for Windows 7.  Should we intall that?   What are the pros and cons of this.

I read your concern regarding finding the right driver for your computer. I also see that you have done some research yourself in finding the right drivers for your computer. Kudos to you for your effort. I am happy to help you with this issue!

 

The easiest way to find the right driver for any HP computer is to use HP Support Assistant

It is a free program provided by HP, I would recommend you to install it and run the program. When you do so, you will be prompted to select your computer and then you will get an option to check for updates. The HP Support Assistant will automatically check the specifications of your computer and give you a list of updates available for your computer. 

You can opt to install the updates you require or install all of them.

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

You are faced with two very different problems -- I know because I have had to tackle these with my Samsung phone.

 

First, drivers.  In my case, I had to install Mobile drivers from Samsung for Windows to properly see my phone.  You need to check with LG to see what they have in terms of Windows drivers.

 

Second, since Kitkat, you can no longer mount an Android filesystem as Mass Storage.  Like your phone, mine defaults to Charging Only when I connect it.  But, if I tap the screen, there is a menu of options and I can choose the last -- which is something like USB 3.0 file transfer.  You need to see if your phone has a similar options menu and select the one that allows for file transfers.

Won't run on battery at all and says plugged in not charging

I recently received a HP Stream Notebook - 13-c055na (ENERGY STAR) from a freind and they told me that battery did not work and needed replacing.

 

I began using the computer and everytime it started the computer came up saying: Primary (internal) battery 601 needs to be replaced since it is detecting the storge capacity to be low.

 

So i got a new battery and its doing the exact same thing and will just shut off whenever the ac adapter is not plugged in.

 

I have changed the power plan settings and this made no difference.

I have an Ipaq HP iPAQ HSTNH-H03C-WL and I would like to know if it is possible to convert the calendar files to be viewed and amended on my Windows 10 Envy Laptop.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Got it.

 

Is there any other active type stylus that works with this laptop? It's kind of a waste to have a convertible touch sensitive laptop without an active stylus support.

HP Active stylus or HP active pen should work with x360 t13 laptops with limited functionality.

 

However, you can buy Targus AMM01TBUS Stylus. That should work with your laptop.
