So I have a compaq CQ 62 that I bought in 2010, the operating system is Window 7 home edition 32 bit. I have dropped it once and had to replace the hard drive but after that the computer worked just fine. 2 days ago it suddenly won't start anymore: when I pressed the power button I could hear the fan starting but the screen is completly black and the computer shown no sign of responding to whatever I do (ctrl+alt+DEL, the light for capslock won't turn on etc...). I hold the power button to force the computer to turn off then try to turn it on again and still the same problem. After 3 or 4 attempts the computer suddenly started working again. After finishing using it I put it on hibernate and the same problem appeared when I tried to start the computer again a few hours later. As time passed it become more and more difficult to turn on my computer because It won't start with only 3 or 4 attempts anymore. I wonder what might be the origin of the problem?
