"The destination drive connected" HP Recovery Manager Fails on m6-1205dx

Hello,

When using the HP Recovery Manager disks I burnt (when I first got my laptop), the manager would go until I have to load disk 4, (about 70%, but I think it's different where it hangs for every computer), and then inform me "The destination drive has been disconnected."

I can't get past this problem, and actually have tried almost every solution suggested online.

Once again, I'm trying to recover an m6-1205dx, that USED TO BE RUNNING Windows 8.1, although the recovery disks restore the system (theoretically) to Windows 8.

At this point, I've wiped the drive and all partitions, after the manager failed the first time, to no avail.  I've also tried pre-creating the partitions for what the utility has to reinstall, (that being the OS partition, and the recovery partition), this too didn't work.

Any solutions or help?  ...I suppose if there aren't, there will always be less legitimate ways of getting Windows.

Anyways, thank you and I look for forward to any responses.
