I am trying to recover a mini for a friend who did not bother to make recovery discs in the beginning. I ordered and received what was supposed to be the correct discs from HP last week. When I attempt to run and recover, the process appears to complete. All the proper dialog boxes come and go showing installation of drivers, software, etc. It reboots for the last time and I come up with a "Recovery failed" prompt every single time. I checked the log and the only thing that shows failed is some wallpaper thing. I made sure to follow all instructions right down to the wireless light being on. The one question I do have is after disc 2 completes, it asks for any other discs that it may need. None were sent and nothing is listed as available. I can't start the machine in safe mode and have no idea if the recovery partition is still intact. Any help will be greatly appreciated
